Trained professionals. Friendly people.
We’re a tight-knit community that cares, and you and your family will get to know our health care professionals and staff quickly. Our priority is making a positive difference in the quality of life of the people we serve. And our doors are always open to answer questions – however big or small.
Kelli Shriver started working as a CNA at Mattoon Rehabilitation & Healthcare in 1999 and attended school at the same time to obtain her LPN. She successfully earned her license in 2001 and continues to care for her residents. Kelli’s residents and their family members enjoy her sense of humor and the compassionate care she provides. Kelli says she became a nurse because she enjoys caring for others, “The rewards received are great when you make someone smile or hold a hand and give a hug during a difficult time.” Kelli is the proud mother of 13-year-old Belle and 10-year-old Coen. Belle participates in cheer and soccer, and Coen also plays soccer. We appreciate her many years of dedication.
Nancy Cobble started working at Mattoon Rehabilitation & Healthcare in 1990 as our Activity Director. She had a full schedule of activities and events that our residents always looked forward to. Countless times you would see her dancing in the activity room with the residents who were also dancing and cheering her on. As the years went on, she transferred to the front office as a receptionist. Nancy contributes her longevity to the kindness and love she feels from residents and co-workers. She a mother of two, Sara and Matt, and she has three beautiful granddaughters. Nancy spends much of her time with family and grandchildren. She likes to travel, shop, and has been on several cruise ship vacations. When you visit our community the first smile you’ll see is Nancy’s.
